Here is how I am finishing my weekend, in the water as I post this.
Warm summer nights are the best. So I went ahead and installed the Faco chrome footrest that I have been holding on to for a long time. I am not sure if Iike it. I would like to know what you think.
You can see the body damage that I inherited clearly in the last pic. It was really beat up when I got it, and some of the replacement panels don't fit quite right due to the shell being bent. That is why I got it cheap.

I would like to know what you think.
Multiple alcohol-inspired thoughts:
1) I need a PWC to be towed by my smart.
2) Or I need to move closer to Lake Michigan.
3) I love the look of the footrests, however what do they do, considering the Vespa has floorboards?
4) Ugh, why do I have a strong desire for small displacement bikes like a Vespa or Grom/Monkey?

In ge neral ter ms I’m inclined to the view that you can’t have too many chrome accessories on a Vespa.
However in this specific instance I think “no”. It doesn’t look like it belongs there
-
looks too much like you lef
t a set of bike handlebars lying aro
und
on the floor
boards.
Also - pool, summer, I’m jealous . It’s winter here and my new house has no decent heating. I’m over being cold. So feel free to take my opinion as just grinchiness .

It fits with the other chrome
bits like luggage racks but looks like it would hurt your feet more than just using the factory flat floor

Personally, I am thinking no....they look like a quality piece, but they ruin the lines of the floorboards IMO.
